Integrated amplifier is used to amplify analogue or digital signals of low power, coming from sound sources (players, microphones, electronic musical instruments) using active elements - transistors.

The Valve amplifier / Tube amplifier is used to amplify analog signals of low power, coming from sound sources (players, microphones, electronic musical instruments) using active elements - electron tubes.

The preamplifier - its task is to pre-amplify and averaging the signal. Thanks to which the current coming out of it to the power amp allows to obtain more or less the same volume level at the same position of the knob. Usually equipped with volume and tone controls.

Power amplifier - The power amplifier is the main and last stage of an audiophile system. Provides adequate current efficiency required to obtain the full power of the system.
